The Hon. Richard Mostyn was first elected to the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the general election for the 34^th Legislative Assembly on November 7, 2016. He was re-elected in the general election for the 35^th Legislative Assembly on April 12, 2021.

The Hon. Richard Mostyn was first appointed to the Executive Council of Yukon (Cabinet) on December 3, 2016. He is currently Minister of Community Services and Minister responsible for the Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board. During the 34^th Legislative Assembly he served as Minister of Highways and Public Works and Minister of the Public Service Commission.

The Hon. Richard Mostyn is Chair of the Standing Committee on Rules, Elections and Privileges. He is also a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. He was appointed to both committees by Order of the House on May 17, 2021. During the 34^th Legislative Assembly the Hon. Richard Mostyn was appointed to the Standing Committee on Rules, Elections and Privileges and the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
