PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE HEARINGS TO BE HELD
Whitehorse – The public is invited to two public hearings of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts of the 34th Yukon Legislative Assembly on Wednesday December 11, 2019.
The subject of the first hearing, in the morning, will be a report of the Office of the Auditor General of Canada entitled Report of the Auditor General of Canada to the Legislative Assembly of Yukon – Kindergarten Through Grade 12 Education in Yukon – Department of Education. This report was released on June 18, 2018 and can be accessed at http://www.oag-bvg.gc.ca/internet/English/yuk_201906_e_43400.html
The second hearing, in the afternoon, will address the Yukon Public Accounts 2018-19. The Public Accounts were released on October 30, 2019 and are available at https://yukon.ca/en/2018-19-public-accounts

Public Hearing on Yukon Public Accounts 2018-19
Witnesses:
- Officials from the Office of the Auditor General of Canada
- Deputy Minister and officials from the Department of Finance
The public hearings will be held in the Yukon Legislative Assembly Chamber and will be broadcast live on 93.5 FM. The audio will also be streamed live (and archived) on the Legislative Assembly’s website at: https://yukonassembly.ca/house-business/coverage-proceedings
