The Yukon Legislative Assembly has launched a Facebook page. The Facebook page will be managed by the Legislative Assembly Office which provides non-partisan services to the Members of the Legislative Assembly and officers of the Legislative Assembly.
With this move to social media, the Legislative Assembly hopes to expand access to information on parliamentary activities and events hosted by the Yukon Legislative Assembly. View the page.
The purpose of this presence on social media is to provide information on the activities of the Legislative Assembly. It is not to initiate or actively participate in discussions on public policy. The public is encouraged to contact their elected Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) on any matters of public policy.
