Currie Dixon a été élu pour la première fois lors des élections générales de la 33e Assemblée législative du Yukon, tenues le 11 octobre 2011. Il a été réélu le 12 avril 2021 lors des élections générales de la 35e Assemblée législative et le 3 novembre 2025 lors des élections générales de la 36e Assemblée législative.

L’honorable Currie Dixon a été assermenté comme premier ministre le 22 novembre 2025. De plus, il occupe actuellement les fonctions de ministre du Conseil exécutif et de ministre des Finances.

Currie Dixon a été président du Comité permanent des comptes publics lors de la 35e Assemblée législative. Il y a été nommé par ordre de la Chambre le 17 mai 2021. Le 13 mai 2021, il a été nommé par ordre de la Chambre à la Commission des services aux députés. Il a également été membre du Comité spécial relatif à l’Assemblée citoyenne sur la réforme électorale du Yukon, établi par l'Assemblée législative le 25 avril 2023.

Currie Dixon a été assermenté à titre de membre du Conseil des ministres le 5 novembre 2011. Au cours de la 33e Assemblée législative, il a occupé les fonctions de ministre de l’Environnement, ministre du Développement économique, ministre des Services aux collectivités et ministre responsable de la Commission de la fonction publique.

Au cours de la 33e Assemblée législative, il a siégé à la Commission des services aux députés, au Comité permanent des règlements, des élections et des privilèges, au Comité permanent des nominations aux principaux comités et commissions du gouvernement et au Comité spécial d’examen des risques et des avantages de la fracturation hydraulique.

Currie Dixon was first elected to the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the general election of the 33rd Legislative Assembly on October 11, 2011. He was re-elected in the general election for the 35th Legislative Assembly on April 12, 2021 and in the general election for the 36th Legislative Assembly on November 3, 2025.

Currie Dixon served as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts during the 35th Legislative Assembly. He was appointed to the committee by Order of the House on May 17, 2021. On May 13, 2021, the Hon. Currie Dixon was appointed a member of the Members’ Services Board by Order of the House. He was also a member of the Special Committee on the Yukon Citizens’ Assembly on Electoral Reform, which was established by the House on April 25, 2023.

On September 28, 2022, it was announced that the Hon. Currie Dixon would be the Yukon Party caucus critic for the Executive Council Office, the Yukon Liquor Corporation, the Yukon Lottery Corporation, the Yukon Cannabis Corporation, Early Learning and Child Care, and the 2027 Canada Winter Games.

The Hon. Currie Dixon was first elected to the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the general election of the 33rd Legislative Assembly on October 11, 2011. He was re-elected in the general election for the 35th Legislative Assembly on April 12, 2021 and in the general election for the 36th Legislative Assembly on November 3, 2025.

The Hon. Currie Dixon was sworn in as a member of the Executive Council (Cabinet) on November 5, 2011. During the 33rd Legislative Assembly he served as Minister of Environment, Minister of Economic Development, Minister of Community Services and Minister of the Public Service Commission. 

During the 33rd Legislative Assembly the Hon. Currie Dixon was appointed to the Members’ Services Board, the Standing Committee on Rules, Elections and Privileges, the Standing Committee on Appointments to Major Government Boards and Committees and the Select Committee Regarding the Risks and Benefits of Hydraulic Fracturing.
