The Yukon Legislative Assembly’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts will be holding a public hearing on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
The hearing will address the 2026 Report of the Auditor General of Canada to the Yukon Legislative Assembly — Child and Family Services in Yukon. The report was released on March 4, 2026, and is available at https://yukon.ca/en/public-accounts. Officials from the Office of the Auditor General of Canada and the Department of Health and Social Services will be appearing as witnesses at the hearing.
The public hearing will be held in the Yukon Legislative Assembly Chamber and will be broadcast live on 93.5 FM. The audio will also be streamed live (and archived) on the Legislative Assembly’s website (https://yukonassembly.ca/house-business/coverage-proceedings). Following the hearing, transcripts will be available on the Public Accounts Committee’s webpage (https://yukonassembly.ca/committees/pac).
