Whitehorse – The Yukon Legislative Assembly’s Special Committee on Electoral Financing is inviting written submissions from individuals and organizations on electoral financing in the territory.
The committee has been tasked with examining the provisions of the Elections Act regarding financial contributions to political parties and reporting its findings to the Legislative Assembly by October 31, 2026.
The committee is seeking input on issues related to political contributions, including third party advertising and other matters that may affect the regulation of political financing in Yukon. The deadline for written submissions is August 31, 2026.

The committee will consider all submissions as part of its review, and the feedback received will be reflected in its final report. Submissions from individuals will remain confidential and will not be made public. Submissions from non-governmental organizations, political parties, election officials, corporations, and unions will be publicly available.
