The Yukon Legislative Assembly is saddened to hear of the recent passing of former Member of the Legislative Assembly Archie Lang.
Archie Lang was first elected to the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the general election of November 4, 2002. He was re-elected in the general election of October 10, 2006 and served as the Member for Porter Creek Centre until October 10, 2011.
Mr. Lang was a member of Cabinet from November 30, 2002 to November 4, 2011. He was Minister of Highways and Public Works, Minister of Community Services, Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources, and Minister responsible for the Yukon Energy Corporation and the Yukon Development Corporation.
